Before joining it is best to make contact with the club and visit on a sailing day (Monday afternoons 1pm to 3pm) to see us inaction. Make contact by email enquiries@rugeleymodelclub.org.uk first, to ensure someone is expecting you. On your first visit you may be able to experience sailing the club yacht or one of the members will let you have a go with one of theirs.

 

The club sails on the lake managed by the Manor Park Sailing Club (MPSC). To join our club it is best to first join the Manor Park Sailing Club through their website. www.mpsc.co.uk Note that you are effectively joining the Manor Park Sailing Club as a "Radio Sailor".

 

Whereas the MPSC site collects membership fees for MYA and MPRSC clubs we (RMBC) collect a small annual subscription in cash at any of our meetings, this covers insurance and operations of the club. The MPSC form gives us all necessary details: emergency contacts, birthdays, sail numbers, MYA club and number etc as well as a signature that you will abide by our rules. These details are stored on the MPSC membership system.

 

If you join after 1st September, you get the remainder of the year and the following year included!

You have two payment methods : either by BACS (preferred), or by cheque ; which ever way you decide to pay, you need to complete a membership form each year - this ensures our records are correct.
